  1. Verify that patient has MAP coverage in  CHASSIS Software™.
  2. Check to see if coverage was active on date of service on bill.

Coverage active on date of service

Instruct the patient to contact the provider who sent the bill and provide a copy of their MAP card

Create and submit contact in VeritySource with the following information:
1. Date of Service

2. Location of Service

3. Any other pertinent information such as invoice number etc.

Inform client an employee from Central Health will contact them for further information

Coverage was not active on date of service

Inform the patient that MAP will not cover the bill and refer the patient to 2-1-1 for referral to Community Resources
