MAP BASIC US Residency Policy
- This policy has different requirements than MAP
- Documentation of US residency status is not required for MAP BASIC
- It is recommended that US residency status documentation be collected if available
Applicants are NOT eligible for MAP or MAP BASIC if :
-They possess a Foreign Student Visa Type “F” (Academic Student) and “M” (Vocational Student)
-They possess an unexpired non-immigrant Visa (temporary business or visitor)-Visa type “B”
Applicants are eligible for MAP or MAP Basic if:
-If an individual on a Student VISA provides proof they are no longer enrolled in school.
